CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso are an Argentine duo from Buenos Aires who work across Latin trap, funk, rock and pop without settling in any of them. Both had solo careers before pairing up, and their joint material combines heavily processed vocals and trap rhythms with live instrumentation, brass and guitar solos, often played straight-faced alongside deliberately absurd lyrics and costumes.
They reached a much wider audience in 2024 with a widely shared NPR Tiny Desk concert, which showcased the full-band arrangements and comic stage manner that define their live shows. Their studio work, including the album Baño María, is looser and more electronic than the version of the songs audiences hear in concert.
