Puerto Rico's coolest export — playful, queer, effortlessly viral reggaeton, delivered with a skater's shrug and charisma that needs no translation.

Born María Victoria Ramírez de Arellano Cardona in Añasco, Young Miko grew up in a household that played rock, hip hop and reggaeton, and started writing poetry while at a Catholic school in Mayagüez. Before music, she was a serious athlete, playing on the Puerto Rico women's national football team from ages thirteen to eighteen alongside karate, basketball and tennis, and later studied drawing and visual arts at university.

She began releasing music in the early 2020s after working as a tattoo artist, uploading early tracks to SoundCloud before breaking through with the track 'Riri' and the mixtape Trap Kitty. Her rise coincided with growing recognition across Latin music for a laid-back, conversational rap style built on reggaeton and Latin trap foundations rather than force.

Collaborations built her profile further: 'Classy 101' with Feid reached the Billboard Hot 100, and her guest verse on Bad Bunny's 'Fina' climbed higher still, to number 14. She also opened select U.S. dates on Karol G's Mañana Será Bonito Tour and joined her on stage to perform 'Dispo'.

Her debut album, Att., arrived in 2024 with features from Feid, Jowell & Randy, Villano Antillano, Elena Rose and Dei V, and a second album, Do Not Disturb, followed in late 2025 with a collaboration alongside Eladio Carrión. She is openly queer, and her lyrics address that directly, making her one of the more visible LGBTQ figures in mainstream Latin music.
