Karol G is the stage name of Carolina Giraldo Navarro, a singer and songwriter from Medellín, Colombia. She began releasing music as a teenager and broke through internationally in the late 2010s, working within reggaeton while drawing on trap, bachata, pop and R&B.
She is known for songs including "Tusa" with Nicki Minaj and "Bichota," and for the album Mañana Será Bonito, which reached number one on the Billboard 200 — the first all-Spanish-language album by a woman to do so. She has won a Grammy Award for Best Música Urbana Album and several Latin Grammys, and her live shows are staged at arena and stadium scale.
