Tyler, The Creator is a rapper, producer and designer from Ladera Heights, California. He first drew attention as the central figure in the Odd Future collective, self-producing early releases including Bastard and Goblin, and built a reputation on abrasive beats and deliberately provocative writing.

His later albums moved sharply toward melody and arrangement: Flower Boy, Igor, Call Me If You Get Lost and Chromakopia each adopt a distinct persona and musical palette, with Tyler handling most of the production himself. He also runs the Golf Wang clothing line and has directed many of his own videos. His live shows are built as full productions, with staging and costume tied to whichever record he is touring.
