Comedian and rapper in equal measure — the jokes are real and so, annoyingly, are the songs, beats from rap's A-list included.

Zack Fox is a comedian, illustrator and rapper who came up in Atlanta and built an early following through his writing and jokes online. He works across stand-up, television and podcasting as well as music, and the two sides of his career are difficult to separate.

His songs are comic in intent but properly produced, often with beats from well-regarded rap producers, and his 2019 track "Jesus Is the One (I Got Depression)," made with Kenny Beats, was the one that pushed him from internet figure to touring artist. His 2021 album shut the fuck up talking to me collected the approach: absurd, deadpan and delivered over trap production that would work perfectly well without the punchlines.
