Pusha T and Malice, reunited — coke-rap scripture over pristine beats, one of rap's great comebacks and a masterclass in brotherly chemistry.

Clipse are a hip-hop duo from Virginia Beach made up of brothers Gene Thornton, who records as No Malice, and Terrence Thornton, known as Pusha T. They worked closely with producers Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo, and much of their catalogue is built on the Neptunes' spare, percussive beats.

Their records are known for dense, technical writing about drug dealing, delivered in tightly interlocked verses that trade lines between the two brothers. Albums including Lord Willin' and Hell Hath No Fury, along with the We Got It 4 Cheap mixtape series, are widely regarded as high points of 2000s rap. The group went on hiatus and later reunited after each brother had pursued solo work.
