Wesley Joseph is a rapper, singer, producer and filmmaker from Walsall in the West Midlands. He studied film and directs much of his own visual work, and his music sits between rap and alternative R&B, built on his own production and marked by shifting tempos, layered vocals and a fairly abstract, impressionistic approach to songwriting.
He was associated with the Birmingham-linked collective OG Horse alongside Jorja Smith before moving into solo releases, and has since put out a series of projects that pair the music closely with self-directed short films and videos.
