Jim Legxacy is a musician and producer from Lewisham in south London. He self-produces most of his own material, layering UK drill and rap cadences over samples drawn from indie rock, emo and R&B, and his releases tend to be structured as loose, personal collages rather than conventional song sequences. The lyrics are diaristic, dealing with grief, family and growing up in London. His homemade approach and refusal to sit within any one UK scene have made him one of the more distinctive voices to emerge from the city's rap fringes.
