Paris Texas is a Los Angeles duo made up of Louie Pastel and Felix, who write, produce and perform together. Their music runs rap vocals through distorted guitars, drum-machine noise and rock structures, with a sardonic, self-aware lyrical streak rather than conventional boasting. The pair drew wider attention in 2021 with the single "Heavy Metal" and the project BOY ANONYMOUS, and have since continued to work across the line between alternative rock and hip-hop, including the 2023 release MID AIR.
