DRAMA is a Chicago duo formed in 2014 by singer Via Rosa and producer Na'el Shehade. Rosa's writing tends toward the confessional — regret, distance, the aftermath of relationships — while Shehade frames it in house-leaning production that borrows as much from contemporary R&B and soul as from club music. The result sits between a ballad and a dance record, with warm keys, live-feeling percussion and vocals mixed close.
