Treach, born Anthony Criss, is the lead rapper of Naughty by Nature, the East Orange, New Jersey trio he formed with Vin Rock and producer DJ Kay Gee. The group broke through in 1991 with "O.P.P." and followed it with "Hip Hop Hooray" and "Feel Me Flow," records that paired mainstream-sized hooks with Treach's dense, fast, tightly enunciated verses.
Alongside his music, he has worked as an actor, appearing in films including Juice and in the HBO series Oz.
