Wuki is the project of Los Angeles-based producer and DJ Kris Barman. His output sits mainly in bass house, with excursions into breaks, ghetto house and other club forms, and is built around blunt basslines, chopped vocal samples and a fairly irreverent approach to genre boundaries. He has released through a number of dance labels and works frequently as a remixer, and his DJ sets tend to move quickly between styles rather than settling into one tempo or template.
