San Diego County pop punk, three chords fast and a dick joke between songs, with Travis Barker's drumming doing far more than the format requires.
blink-182 formed in Poway, north of San Diego, in 1992, with Tom DeLonge and Mark Hoppus trading vocals and Scott Raynor on drums. Travis Barker replaced Raynor in 1998, and the 1999 album 'Enema of the State' turned the band into a mainstream fixture on the strength of 'What's My Age Again?' and 'All the Small Things'. The 2003 self-titled record was darker and slower, and included 'I Miss You'.
DeLonge left in 2005 and again in 2015, with Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio filling in before DeLonge returned in 2022. Hoppus was treated for lymphoma in 2021.
