Amira Elfeky is a musician and producer based in Los Angeles who writes, records and largely produces her own material. Her songs draw on nu-metal and post-hardcore — downtuned riffs, programmed drums, screamed passages set against clean melodic singing — filtered through a pop sensibility and a home-recording approach. She built an audience online before moving into wider release and touring, and is often grouped with a younger generation of artists revisiting late-1990s and early-2000s heavy rock sounds from an internet-native starting point.
