FINNEAS
Songwriter and producer behind much of his sister Billie Eilish's catalogue, stepping out with his own hushed, close-miked pop. Bedroom scale by choice.
Finneas O'Connell was born in 1997 and grew up in Los Angeles, playing in a band called The Slightlys as a teenager and acting on the side, including a run on Glee. His production work has brought Grammys, and he shares Academy Award wins for the Bond theme "No Time to Die" and "What Was I Made For?".
Under his own name he writes at a smaller scale: the EP Blood Harmony in 2019, then the album Optimist in 2021. Songs like "Let's Fall in Love for the Night" put a light, conversational voice over piano and guitar, with the studio detail kept low in the mix rather than scrubbed out.
