Adult DVD are a group from Leeds who formed around 2020, working in a dance-rock and post-punk vein built on drum machines, synthesisers and spoken or half-sung vocals. Their songs tend to pair repetitive electronic rhythms with wry, observational lyrics about everyday British life.

The band emerged from the same northern English scene that produced a wave of guitar and electronics hybrids in the early 2020s, and are known for energetic live shows in which the hardware setup is played rather than simply triggered.
