The Last Dinner Party

1 festival played

Theatrical London five-piece who arrived fully formed — corsetry, harpsichord flourishes, and songs big enough to justify both, 'Nothing Matters' the proof.

The Last Dinner Party are a London five-piece — Abigail Morris on vocals, Lizzie Mayland, Emily Roberts, Georgia Davies and Aurora Nishevci — who came up through the south London circuit around the Windmill in Brixton, playing live for some time before releasing anything. Their music draws on glam, baroque pop and art rock, with keyboards, layered vocals and arrangements that build in tiers rather than verses and choruses alone.

Their first single, Nothing Matters, arrived in 2023 and was followed by the album Prelude to Ecstasy. The band won the BRITs Rising Star award and topped the BBC Sound of 2024 poll. Their performances lean into costume and staging.
