Hotel Fiction is a duo from Athens, Georgia, formed in 2019 while its members were students there. The pair write indie pop-rock built around vocal harmony and keyboard-led arrangements, with guitar and drums filling in behind, and a production style that favors reverb and gradual build over sharp edges. The songs generally move toward a large, open chorus rather than starting there. Working out of a town with a long history of guitar-based independent music, Hotel Fiction has released material independently and toured steadily in the Southeast and beyond.
