Kane Brown
Country's streaming-era superstar — R&B smoothness and arena country in one of the format's biggest modern voices.
Kane Brown grew up in and around Chattanooga, Tennessee, and first built an audience by posting cover songs online, which led to a self-released EP and then a deal with RCA Nashville. His 2016 self-titled debut and the follow-up Experiment established him as one of country's biggest streaming acts, with singles including "What Ifs", a duet with Lauren Alaina, and "Heaven".
His music blends contemporary country production with R&B phrasing and pop structures, and his deep baritone is the constant across it. He has recorded outside the format as well, notably "One Thing Right" with the producer Marshmello, and has been open about his mixed-race background in a genre where that remains uncommon.
