Kiran Leonard is a musician from Saddleworth, in Greater Manchester, who began self-releasing recordings while still a teenager. He is a multi-instrumentalist who typically plays most parts on his albums himself, working across guitar, keyboards and assorted percussion.

His music sits between indie rock, art rock and something closer to chamber composition, with songs that frequently run long, change structure abruptly and set literary or philosophical subject matter against loud, unruly arrangements. He has also recorded quieter, more minimal solo material, and has released work through Moshi Moshi. Live, he performs both solo and with a band.
