London four-piece led by Juliette Jackson, pairing warm group harmonies with guitar pop that turns wry and observational up close.

The Big Moon formed in London in 2014 around songwriter Juliette Jackson, who assembled the band after writing an initial batch of songs alone. The line-up settled with Soph Nathann on guitar, Celia Archer on bass and Fern Ford on drums, and much of the group's identity rests on the four of them singing together.

Their debut album, Love in the 4th Dimension, appeared in 2017 and was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize. Later records widened the palette, softening the scrappy guitar attack with keyboards and more spacious arrangements while keeping Jackson's conversational, detail-heavy writing at the centre. Onstage the band are known for a loose, funny rapport that sits alongside songs about friendship, domestic life and getting older.
