Grammy-nominated East Tennessee band playing hard-charging traditional bluegrass with the road miles and the IBMA hardware to back up bandleader C.J. Lewandowski's claim that they live what they sing.

The Po' Ramblin' Boys formed in 2014 around East Tennessee, with mandolinist and singer C.J. Lewandowski among the founding members. The band plays traditional bluegrass in a hard-driving style, working from the older end of the tradition: acoustic instruments, close harmony singing, and repertoire drawn from classic bluegrass and country sources alongside originals written in the same mold.

They have kept an unusually heavy touring schedule, including regular work in Europe, and have been recognised by the International Bluegrass Music Association as well as receiving Grammy nomination attention. Their look and stage manner are as plainly traditional as the music, and the group is often cited as part of a younger generation keeping straight-ahead bluegrass in circulation.
