Twin sisters from Ohio playing mandolin and fiddle in the older bluegrass style, with the kind of sibling harmony that only comes one way.

Lauren and Leanna Price grew up in eastern Ohio and came up through the bluegrass program at East Tennessee State University. Lauren plays mandolin, Leanna plays fiddle, and their model is the Bill Monroe end of the tradition rather than anything that came after it: hard mandolin chop, twin-voice harmony, songs drawn from the first-generation repertoire alongside their own writing in the same idiom. They record for Rebel Records, a label with a long history in exactly that corner of the music.
