Windwaker are a metalcore band from Melbourne, Australia, formed in 2014. Their music combines the standard elements of the style — screamed verses, breakdowns, down-tuned riffing — with pop songwriting instincts, electronic production and prominent clean choruses, closer in feel to modern rock radio than to traditional heavy hardcore.
They released their debut album Love Language in 2021 and have toured widely in Australia, with subsequent releases continuing to lean into the electronic and melodic side of their sound.
