The Dewaele brothers' DJ alias, the mashup pioneers who made As Heard on Radio Soulwax a genre of its own. Still the most joyful hard drive in dance music.
2manydjs is the DJ side of Soulwax, the Ghent band run by brothers David and Stephen Dewaele. As Heard on Radio Soulwax Pt. 2, released in 2002, spliced Dolly Parton over Röyksopp and Destiny's Child over 10cc, and had to be cleared track by track, with some versions of the album released in altered form depending on territory.
Live, the pair play a fast, cross-genre set built on hard cuts between rock records and dance records, more recently paired with animated visuals that redraw each song's original artwork. They also record and tour as Soulwax with a full band.
