Inglewood teenager behind the 'Soak City' wave — bouncy, ratchet-revival West Coast rap built for function DJs.

310babii is the stage name of Kameron Joshua Milner, born December 30, 2005, and raised in Inglewood, California. He started rapping around 2020, drawing on West Coast hip-hop and citing Kendrick Lamar as an early influence, and settled on the 310babii name once he decided to pursue music professionally in early 2023.

He broke through as a teenager with 'Soak City,' recorded on the BandLab app and produced by Donez and KreepTeam, released through Empire Distribution in June 2023. The track spread through Los Angeles parties and social video before reaching wider radio and playlist rotation.

His style sits in the bounce-heavy lineage of West Coast ratchet music, built on simple, chant-ready hooks, sing-song delivery and beats designed to keep a room moving. The song's title and refrain became shorthand for a broader wave of young Southern California rappers working in the same up-tempo, DJ-friendly mode.

'Soak City' reached No. 53 on the Billboard Hot 100 and went platinum, picked up by NFL players Travis Kelce and Rashid Shaheed for end zone celebrations and endorsed by Travis Scott. A remix added Blueface, Tyga, Mustard, OhGeesy and BlueBucksClan to the track.

Milner followed the single with the EP Lottery Pick in 2023, then his debut album Nights and Weekends in February 2024, with guests including Duke Deuce, BIA and DDG. A second album, 310degrees, arrived that October, featuring Luh Tyler, Saweetie and Roy Woods among others.
