Carly Pearce is an American country singer and songwriter, born in 1990 and raised in Taylor Mill, Kentucky. She left school as a teenager to perform at Dollywood before moving to Nashville, where she spent several years working towards a record deal. Her breakthrough came with "Every Little Thing", and she has since had success with the duet "I Hope You're Happy Now" with Lee Brice and "Never Wanted to Be That Girl" with Ashley McBryde.
Her music leans on 1990s country production and bluegrass-touched vocal phrasing, and much of her best-known writing deals directly with the end of her marriage. She is a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
