Hayley Williams is a singer and songwriter from Meridian, Mississippi, who grew up in Franklin, Tennessee and has fronted Paramore since the band's formation in the mid-2000s. Her solo work, begun around 2020, moves away from the guitar-driven pop punk she is best known for, favouring quieter arrangements, layered vocal harmony and production that draws on art pop and ambient textures.
