Blondshell is the project of Sabrina Teitelbaum, a New York–raised songwriter based in Los Angeles who worked under other names before settling into this one. The music leans on the shapes of 1990s alternative rock — loud-quiet dynamics, distorted guitars, unhurried tempos — with lyrics delivered close to the microphone and largely conversational in tone.
