Ian Munsick grew up in Sheridan, Wyoming, in a musical family, and studied music before moving to Nashville and signing with Warner Music Nashville. His songs draw directly on ranch life and the landscape of the northern Rockies, a regional focus that sets him apart from much mainstream country writing. He plays several instruments and often works with a high, clear vocal delivery over arrangements that mix contemporary country production with fiddle and acoustic textures. Munsick has released a series of albums for Warner and tours regularly across the western United States and beyond.
