PVA is a London group whose music sits between live band and club track, pairing sequenced synths and drum machines with drums and guitar. Ella Harris and Josh Baxter share vocals and songwriting, and their material draws on acid house, EBM and post-punk in roughly equal measure, often built around repetitive low-end pulses and deadpan, half-spoken delivery. The band emerged from the same South London scene as several other guitar-and-electronics acts of the late 2010s and has released through Ninja Tune.
