Dabin is a Canadian producer, guitarist and songwriter based in Toronto, known for melodic bass music that sits between dubstep and future bass. He came up through the online electronic scene of the early 2010s and has released a run of albums and EPs on the Seeking Blue and Monstercat labels, typically featuring guest vocalists across most tracks.
His productions are notable for the prominence of live guitar, which appears both in the songwriting and in the drops themselves rather than only as texture. He performs his sets with a guitar, and has collaborated with a number of artists working in the same melodic bass space.
