Bambii is the working name of Toronto DJ and producer Kirsten Azan, whose sets and productions draw on dancehall, jungle, soca, house and R&B in roughly equal measure. Her approach reflects the Caribbean-Canadian music culture she grew up around in Toronto, and she is as well known as a party organiser and selector as she is for her own records. Her releases as a producer, including the 2023 EP Infinity Club, apply the same logic as her DJ sets: fast tempo shifts, heavy low end and vocals borrowed from sound-system traditions.
