Two decades of pop radio built on falsetto and Timbaland productions, from 'Cry Me a River' to 'Mirrors,' with the *NSYNC choreography still intact.

Justin Timberlake grew up in Memphis, appearing on Star Search as a child before joining Disney Channel's The All New Mickey Mouse Club. In the late 1990s he fronted *NSYNC, one of the best-selling boy bands of all time, before moving into a solo career.

His solo debut Justified arrived in 2002 with production from The Neptunes and Timbaland, followed by FutureSex/LoveSounds in 2006. Both albums sold more than ten million copies and went triple platinum; the latter became his first number-one album and produced the chart-topping singles "SexyBack", "My Love" and "What Goes Around... Comes Around", plus a feature on Timbaland's "Give It to Me".

The 20/20 Experience arrived in 2013, its longer song structures and live horns setting up "Suit & Tie" and "Mirrors"; a second volume followed the same year. Man of the Woods came in 2018 and Everything I Thought It Was in 2024, both reaching the upper ranks of the Billboard 200.

Alongside music, Timberlake has worked steadily as an actor, appearing in The Social Network, Bad Teacher, Friends with Benefits, In Time, and later Palmer and Reptile. He voiced Branch in the Trolls films, and the soundtrack single "Can't Stop the Feeling!" gave him a fifth number-one single and an Academy Award nomination. He has also appeared repeatedly on Saturday Night Live, where digital shorts with Andy Samberg became their own small body of work.

His career has brought ten Grammy Awards, four Primetime Emmys, three Brit Awards, nine Billboard Music Awards and eleven MTV Video Music Awards, among other honours, plus a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as a member of *NSYNC.
