Key4050 is the collaborative project of Irish trance producers Bryan Kearney and John O'Callaghan, both of whom have long solo careers in the genre. The name combines elements of their own aliases and labels.
The duo's output sits at the tougher, faster end of trance, with driving basslines, acid-inflected leads and uplifting breakdowns, closer to tech-trance and hard trance than to the mainstream commercial strain. They perform as a back-to-back DJ pairing.
