MisterWives came together in New York in 2012 around singer Mandy Lee, whose voice carries most of the melody over a band that uses horns, hand percussion and drum parts that lean toward disco more than rock. "Reflections" was their first widely heard song, released on an EP before the debut album. Lee writes and co-produces, and the live shows lean on the band's brass and on her range.
