Nat Myers
Korean-American country-blues revivalist — National steel guitar and dust-bowl holler, prewar blues played like breaking news.
Nat Myers is a Korean-American singer, guitarist and poet raised in northern Kentucky, who came to the blues through writing and record collecting rather than a family tradition. He plays in a prewar country-blues idiom, largely solo on resonator and acoustic guitar, drawing on the Delta and Piedmont players of the 1920s and 1930s while writing his own material about race, work and displacement in the present. His debut album Yellow Peril was produced by Dan Auerbach and released on Easy Eye Sound in 2023.
