NEXZ
Japanese boy group assembled through JYP's audition-show pipeline, applying full K-pop training and choreography to J-pop-leaning material.
NEXZ came out of Nizi Project Season 2, the audition program run jointly by JYP Entertainment and Sony Music Japan — the same pipeline that produced the girl group NiziU a few years earlier. The members were selected through the televised process and then put through JYP's training system before debuting in 2024.
The group works in the mode JYP has used for its Japan-based acts: Korean-style vocal and dance training applied to material aimed largely at a Japanese audience, with synchronised choreography and releases in both Japanese and Korean.
