Machine Gun Kelly

1 festival played

Cleveland's rap-to-pop-punk convert — tabloid-famous, genre-fluid, and louder about his feelings than anyone in the arena.

Machine Gun Kelly is the stage name of Colson Baker, a rapper, singer and actor who was born in Houston and grew up mainly in Cleveland. He built an early following through mixtapes and signed to Bad Boy Records, releasing the album Lace Up in 2012 and scoring an early hit with "Wild Boy"; further rap albums General Admission, Bloom and Hotel Diablo followed.

In 2020 he moved decisively into pop-punk with Tickets to My Downfall, made with Travis Barker as producer, and continued in that direction on Mainstream Sellout. He has also acted in film and television, including a turn as Tommy Lee in The Dirt, and his public feud with Eminem produced the widely discussed diss track "Rap Devil".
