Scene Queen is the project of Hannah Collins, a singer and songwriter from Ohio who coined the term "bimbocore" to describe her music. The songs combine metalcore riffs and breakdowns with pop hooks and a hot-pink visual identity, using the contrast deliberately.

Her lyrics are direct and often satirical, addressing misogyny and predatory behaviour within the heavy music scene, and she has spoken publicly about those issues outside her songs as well. The project's aesthetic — pink lighting, pink merchandise, pink everything — is part of the argument rather than decoration.
