The All-American Rejects formed in Stillwater, Oklahoma, in 2000 around singer and bassist Tyson Ritter and guitarist Nick Wheeler. Their music sits between pop punk and power pop, built on big choruses, tight arrangements and a pop-radio instinct that set them apart from harder-edged contemporaries. "Swing, Swing" broke them nationally, and later singles including "Dirty Little Secret," "Move Along" and "Gives You Hell" turned them into one of the more durable rock acts of the 2000s.

In recent years the band has toured again, with Ritter's unpredictable, comic stage presence a large part of the draw.
