The original superstar DJ duo — Northern Exposure progressive journeys, still unhurried and still unmatched.

Sasha and John Digweed are British DJs who began working together in the early 1990s and became one of the best-known partnerships in dance music. Sasha, born Alexander Coe, came up through the UK club scene of the late 1980s; Digweed built his reputation in Hastings before joining him. Their Northern Exposure series and their long-running residency at Twilo in New York helped define what came to be called progressive house.

Their sets are typically long-form and gradual, favoring extended mixing and slow-building arrangements over abrupt peaks. Both maintain substantial solo careers — Digweed through his Bedrock label and radio show — but continue to play together as a duo.
