The Philippines' biggest pop group — precision choreography and a ferociously devoted fanbase, P-pop pride at global scale.

SB19 was formed in Manila after members were selected from a 2016 talent search run by a local subsidiary of the South Korean company ShowBT, which aimed to build a Philippine equivalent to the K-pop system. The group's name is an acronym for Sound Break 19, combining the company's initials with a number drawn from the difference between the members' ages.

Their 2018 debut single, a ballad called 'Tilaluha,' got a lukewarm reception and nearly ended the group before it started. The 2019 dance-pop single 'Go Up' went viral instead, leading to a deal with Sony Music Philippines, a sold-out concert at the Cuneta Astrodome, and the 2020 debut album Get in the Zone.

The EP Pagsibol (2021) pushed the group toward hip-hop and EDM with singles like 'Mapa' and 'Bazinga,' and in 2023 the members left ShowBT to self-manage under their own company, 1Z Entertainment, releasing the EP Pagtatag! the same year. Its single 'Gento' gave them their first entries on Billboard's Philippines and World Digital Song Sales charts.

The 2025 EP Simula at Wakas placed every track on the Philippines Hot 100, and its single 'Dam' made SB19 the first Filipino act to top the World Digital Song Sales chart. World tours behind these releases have sold out arenas including the Araneta Coliseum and the Philippine Arena, and the group became the first Filipino act to perform at Lollapalooza.

Beyond music, SB19 has picked up Asia Artist Awards, a Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award and dozens of domestic honors, and Pablo, the group's leader, is regularly credited as a co-writer and co-producer of their material. Teen Vogue has named them among the best boy bands of all time.
