Zakk Sabbath is a Black Sabbath tribute group formed in 2014 by guitarist and singer Zakk Wylde, alongside bassist Blasko and drummer Joey Castillo. Wylde is best known for his long tenure in Ozzy Osbourne's band and for fronting Black Label Society, and the project began as a way of playing the early Sabbath catalogue live.
The band works mostly through the first few Sabbath albums, playing the material heavy and slow with Wylde's own guitar vocabulary layered over it. They have also recorded full-album covers, including a complete version of Vol. 4. The result stays close to the original arrangements while making little attempt to disguise who is playing them.
