Champagne Drip is the alias of Los Angeles-based producer Michael Turner, who previously recorded electro house as Myth. Under the Champagne Drip name he makes bass music with an emphasis on detailed sound design: wet, morphing synth textures, unusual percussion and slower tempos that favour atmosphere over straightforward drops. His releases have appeared through Wakaan, the label associated with Liquid Stranger, and his sets sit within the American experimental bass scene that grew up around it.
