Dogstar are an American alternative rock trio formed in Los Angeles in 1991, with Bret Domrose on guitar and vocals, Keanu Reeves on bass and Robert Mailhouse on drums. They toured and recorded through the 1990s before going quiet for roughly two decades, then reconvened to write and perform again.

Their music is straightforward guitar rock in a post-grunge vein, built on melodic songwriting rather than studio effects, and the band have generally played small and mid-sized rooms and kept the focus on the songs rather than on Reeves's film career.
