Those Damn Crows come from Bridgend in South Wales and play melodic hard rock with an emphasis on choruses built to be sung back. Fronted by Shane Greenhall, the band worked its way up through UK clubs before its albums began charting nationally, an unusual trajectory for a rock act without radio backing.

Their records — beginning with Murder and the Motive and continuing through Point of No Return and Inhale/Exhale — sit in a lineage that runs from classic British hard rock to more contemporary radio-rock production, with guitar hooks kept simple and the vocals pushed to the front.
