Sings and plays guitar over his own productions — closer to a band than a DJ set, melodic bass with a rock frontman's instincts.

Grabbitz is Nick Chiari, a producer, singer and multi-instrumentalist from Buffalo, New York. He came up through the bass music and dubstep world, but his own material has always folded in singing and guitar, moving between electronic production, trap-influenced rhythms and something closer to alternative rock songwriting.

That combination shapes his performances, which tend to place him front and centre as a vocalist and player rather than behind a DJ booth. He has also worked as a collaborator and remixer within the wider EDM scene.
