Fat Mike's band, four decades of fast, sarcastic skate punk run entirely through their own label and almost never on radio.
NOFX started in Los Angeles in 1983 with Fat Mike on bass and vocals, Eric Melvin on guitar and, from the following decade, El Hefe on guitar and trumpet. The songs are fast and short, often funny, and sometimes pointedly political, with a run of albums including Punk in Drublic that sold heavily without radio play or a major label. Fat Mike founded Fat Wreck Chords, which released most of the band's later work. NOFX played their final shows in 2024 and broke up.
