American producer out of the first wave of festival trap, since widened into house and vocal-led material written and sung himself.

Ookay is the recording name of American producer and DJ Abraham Laguna, who emerged in the early 2010s alongside the wave of producers applying trap drum programming to festival-scale electronic music. He became more widely known for "Thief," a 2015 track built on a saxophone hook that circulated well beyond the trap audience and was later reworked by other producers.

Since then his output has moved toward house tempos and song-based material, with Laguna writing and singing on much of it himself rather than working exclusively with guest vocalists.
